Blackjack Is Like A Rollercoaster

Blackjack is a game that reminds me of a wild ride. It is a game that starts out slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you slowly build up your bankroll, you feel like you are making moves to the top of the coaster and then when you least expect it, the bottom falls.

Blackjack is so akin to a rollercoaster the similarities are frightening. As with the popular fair ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will seem as though they are going well for a while before it bottoms out once again. You have to be a blackjack player who is able to readjust to the ups and downs of the game mainly because the game of black jack is choked full with them.

If you like the petite coaster, one that can’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the roller coaster ride is with a bigger bet, then hop aboard for the mad ride of your life on the monster coaster. The big money player will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because they are not thinking about the drop as they rush quickly to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that is a lovely feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to twist and turn, you had better escape in a hurry.

If you don’t, you might not necessarily recount how much you enjoyed the view while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a nice ride and your head in the air. As you are reminiscing on "what ifs", you won’t easily recount how "high up" you went but you will recall that mortifying drop as clear as day.
